Alright, so I got Forza 3 a little later than the rest of the Europe folks, because of the postal strikes delaying delivery a little. But yesterday, I finally recieved my Limited Collector's Edition copy. After installing and playing the game, I can say but one thing.

"Excuse me while I pick up my jaw from the floor."

It is absolutely incredible! The tracks look beautiful, the cars look beautiful, they handle incredibly well (Well, if you upgrade and tune them right, but for those who aren't quite into upgrading, there's a "Quick Upgrade" feature that lets you optimise your car for a certain class), the decal editor is much improved from Forza 2 (I'll be submitting a photo of my first decal to my Scraps shortly, so keep an eye out there), and overall it's just a brilliant, beautiful game.

So if you're a fan of racing simulation games and own a 360, Forza 3 is definitely the game for you. If you're not such a big fan, give it a try anyway, you might get hooked. (Gamespot puts it best: "Do you like cars? Forza Motorsport 3 is the game for you. In fact, provided you don't hate cars, Forza Motorsport 3 is the game for you.")

I have returned from holidays! ^^

It was nice and peaceful, but I'm still glad to be back, with an internet connection.

So I'll be away on holiday from the 10th of October till the 17th. And I will be logging on from time to time at a LAN Café nearby, so I can check for updates and things like that.

That's all I can really think to say. On the 10th I'll probably be stopping off at Elgin to see if I can pick up Scribblenauts before moving on to my holiday location, which is a few miles north of Inverness. |3 No place like home for the holidays.

So yeah. I got Halo 3 ODST. In part because I heard it was pretty good, and in part to save on hard drive space by deleting the Halo 3 Multiplayer DLC, since the "Halo 3 Mythic" disc included has all of the DLC.

So far, it's awesome. Difficult, but awesome. I had to tone down the difficulty from Heroic to Normal (but then that's because I generally suck at FPS games and have to play on Normal difficulty.) Also had a couple of firefights, they were absolutely awesome (Though the last one I had with kind of dragged on a little. I think it might've been the difficulty setting or something, Easy is actually too easy for me, so we kept on surviving and surviving and we racked up almost 2 hours' survival time. By that point I had to actually try to get killed to get killed and call it Game Over. XD

Oh yeah, my new favourite character? Buck. BAM, said the lady! (hence the BSTL in the journal title there. XD)

In other news, the Forza 3 demo's out. Absolutely beautiful stuff. @____@ I look forward to playing the full game on October.

Alright, so the Monday Musing thing has long blown over by now, and I'm back to a peaceful life with just the friends I know. :3 (I'd been hiding on the PS3 the last couple of weeks playing LittleBigPlanet and Wipeout HD, but I'm back on the 360 now.)

As such, I'm looking forward to a neat lineup of games over the next couple of months. First off I'll be picking up Halo 3 ODST this Thursday (Well, if the value of all the games I'm trading in matches up), then next month I'll be trying to get a hold of Scribblenauts for the DS, and on the 23rd, Forza Motorsport 3 will be coming out (I've already preordered the Limited Edition).

So yeah. Other than that life's been going on as usual. |3
